BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY – FUEL TRUCK BROKER

Do you want to be a Distributor for the market leader in both the home heat and diesel distribution industry in the Greater St John’s area, while managing your own business? Through the company’s partnership with Petro-Canada., Harvey’s Oil Ltd. has experienced significant growth in its industrial lubricant, light and base oil division while maintaining its customer service focus in home heat.
As your own business operator, the potential income growth is strong. The successful distributor will be afforded training in company systems and safety policies. An acceptable Driver’s Abstract and a valid Class 5 license with air brake endorsement (09) is required, and must be maintained, for this distribution opportunity.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for operating a Fuel Truck to deliver Petroleum Products to our Residential customer’s storage tanks
- Respond to customer concerns and inquiries and ensure effective resolution within required timeframe
- Manage deadlines to ensure on time performance
- Monitor and maintain records for product lifts & meter counts of delivery tickets
- Complete daily log, vehicle circle check’s and required safety documentation.
- Ensure and maintain safe working environment according to safety policies and procedures
- Monitor work and ensure usage of all Personal Protective Equipment while working
- Other duties as required
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must possess excellent customer service skills, with the ability to ask probing questions, and understand and resolve customer concerns with positive outcomes
- Must possess strong organizational and problem solving skills, to deliver results in fast paced, challenging, work situations
- Must maintain acceptable driver’s abstract
- Class 5 driver’s license with air brake endorsement (09) is required. Class 3 license would be an asset
- Experience in business ownership would be an asset
- Must be computer literate
